 Honeywell’s reaction torque sensors utilize bonded, strain gauge technology and offer torque measurements from 25 oz-in (0,18 Nm) to ranges of 200000 ft-lb (271000 Nm)
A variety of mounting configurations are offered including: Shaft to Shaft, Flange to Flange and Shaft to Flange on the low range models. Honeywell also offers miniature, square drive and special configurations, in addition to several torque watch gauges to measure very low torque.
All Honeywell, torque sensors are machined from stainless steel and temperature hardened for low torsional deflection, as well as, temperature compensated for long-term stability.

The fully wireless design enables higher integrity of the torque data capture through higher resolution, higher sensitivity, faster response, and no mechanical interferences. The result is a more accurate indication of the actual torque being experienced, plus an increase in overall system reliability.
Fully software driven, the TMS 9250 features quick and easy setup, and selectable outputs which can be easily adjusted as needed. With no slip rings or bearings to replace, less routine maintenance is required.

Let Us Help  Honeywell offers a line of non-contact rotary transformer shaft and flange mount torque sensors ideal for test installations running long-term durability testing. The non-contact nature of the signal transfer virtually eliminates the need for maintenance. High overload protection with high signal output helps prevent potential damage to the sensor. Carrier frequency excitation provides increased signal/noise immunity. The rotating transformers differ from conventional transformers only in that either the primary or secondary winding is rotating. One transformer is used to transmit the AC excitation voltage to the strain gage bridge, and a second transformer to transfer the signal output to the non-rotating part of the transducer. Thus, two transformers replace four slip rings and no direct contact is required between the rotating and stationary elements of the transducer.
