Analog Telemetry - WDC
Honeywell has been providing wireless telemetry solutions for more than 20 years. Also known as our WDC product line, Honeywell’s analog wireless telemetry products allow customers to measure torque, temperature, acceleration, and other parameters in rotating equipment in a variety of challenging environments and applications.
Honeywell’s analog wireless telemetry utilizes RF (radio frequency ) technology to wirelessly transmit information for potential applications such as testing, or continuous monitoring of equipment for feedback or control purposes, thus minimizing concerns about alignment, brush wear and contamination. Systems usually consist of a transmitter, a receiver, a power supply (inductive or battery), a module support ring (collar), and antennas (rotating and stationary)
Each customer application and working environment is unique. That’s why Honeywell works closely with each customer to develop a customized solution to meet their specific requirements. Contact us to learn more.

Honeywell offers a series of clamp-on analog telemetry torque transducers which are ideal for measuring torque on rotating machinery or propulsion systems where little down time can be afforded.
Clamp-on collars surround the shaft to be measured and provide digital readouts to display torque, RPM, and computed horsepower. Units can be sealed to work in harsh environments and areas of high vibration. Water proof systems to work in marine environments are also available.
Just a few of the many potential applications include repetitive testing of identical systems, fuel conservation programs, hull and propeller fouling, load and balancing on twin screw vessels, power plant monitors, seal trial torsion meters.

More Clamp On (9300 & 1600) Can't Find What You're Looking For? Let Us Help Honeywell’s analogy telemetry rotary torque systems are often well suited for both short and long term testing and monitoring of torque or strain on rotating applications where other measurement methods are affected by vibration, dust, moisture, high RPMs, and large axial/radial shaft movements.
Utilizing an existing customer gage shaft assembly, these rotary torque systems take the strain data from a rotating bridge assembly and converts it to a high level output via wireless telemetry.
A combination of up to six transmitters and receivers operating on different frequencies will provide up to six points of measurement on the same shaft. Options to add additional points of measurement are also available by special order.
A scalable analog output and numeric display readout on the receiver provides an electrical and visual indication of the measurement. The receiver provides controls for gain and zero adjustments, display scaling, and IPS power setting.

You must use quotation marks when searching order codes. Start with the base order code and range & then add option codes to further reduce the search.
For example: “AL111” will yield the most results. “AL111BN,1A,2U” will start to narrow the search
-
Use the * symbol at the end of a word, part number, partial part number or model number. This will create a wildcard search.
For example: Entering 366* will bring up Model 366 and Model 3663 as well as specific part numbers which contain 366 within the part number.
-
Enter AND (no quote marks) between search terms. This will locate the exact phrase which contains all of the words referenced.
For example: Entering Subminiature AND Load will bring up all products which have BOTH words in the product description.
-
Enter “OR” (with quote marks) between search terms to find products with either word in the description.
For Example: Entering Miniature “OR” Subminiature will bring up all products which have EITHER word in the product spelling

When searching by product family or category, try navigating through the product menu via the navigation button on the top left of the website. Or use the Find-A-Solution button from the home page.
