MINNEAPOLIS, May 13, 2013 - Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today that it will be showing a wide range of sensors designed to enhance productivity in a variety of test and measurement applications at the Sensor + Test Measurement Fair in Nurnberg, Germany, May 14-16, 2013, including new Model DPS Digital Pressure Sensors with CANopen®, and the Model S subminiature and PX2 heavy-duty pressure transducers. Key products to be featured in Honeywell’s Stand 12-607 include:

Honeywell Digital Pressure Sensors with CANopen®
Honeywell’s new Digital Pressure Sensors with CANopen®, Model DPS, are rugged, all-welded, and stainless steel. Featuring the CANopen protocol, Model DPS sensors are highly configurable, so customers can choose from multiple pressure types, accuracy levels, pressure ranges, pressure connections, and electrical terminations to meet specific application needs. Configurations for digital measurements are fully temperature compensated and calibrated for pressure ranges from 10 psi to 10K psi or 1 bar to 700 bar or 70kPA to 70000 kPa, with accuracy ranges of 0.25% and 0.1%, and operating and storage temperature ranges from -25 °C to 85 °C [-13 °F to 185 °F]. Built tough to withstand harsh environments, the Model DPS with CANopen® protocol communication allows customers to connect to longer cable distances without sacrificing accuracy.

Honeywell Model S Series Subminiature Pressure Transducers
Featuring 1% accuracy, Honeywell Sensing and Control’s Model S Series of subminiature pressure transducers fit into tight spaces with little clearance, and accurately measure pressure ranges from 100 psi to 15000 psi. These rugged transducers are designed to handle high pressure and temperatures, with a high natural frequency and flush diaphragm for applications such as engine and transmission test stands, pressure brake testing, and hydraulic sensor testing.

Honeywell PX Series Heavy-Duty Pressure Transducers
The PX2 Series Heavy-Duty Pressure Transducers are highly configurable, stainless steel pressure measurement solutions engineered to be resistant to moderately harsh media such as refrigerants, brake, and hydraulic fluids, engine oil, tap water, and compressed air. With a wide pressure range, the PX2 Series is designed to monitor performance and efficiency in potential industrial applications such as HVAC/R equipment, air compressors, system pressure, factory automation, pneumatics, valves, pumps, packaging/laminating equipment, sprayers, lasers, foam dispensing, solar energy, and emissions monitoring. The PX2 Series uses piezoresistive sensing technology with ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) signal conditioning. Compatible with varied media, and combined with up to IP69K protection and CE compliance, the PX2 provides reliable performance in tough environments.

Honeywell offers a broad portfolio of sensors which meet industry standard approvals such as ATEX, CSA, and more, and are built tough to provide enhanced reliability, accuracy, and versatility in a wide range of test and measurement applications. Honeywell’s test and measurement sensor solutions help customers worldwide in research and development, design, quality testing, manufacturing and system monitoring in many different industries, challenging applications, and rugged environments. Customized solutions are also available, so stop by the Honeywell booth for more information and to discuss your application.
