Rotary Transformer - Non Contact - Unamplified
Honeywell offers a line of non-contact rotary transformer shaft and flange mount torque sensors ideal for test installations running long-term durability testing. The non-contact nature of the signal transfer virtually eliminates the need for maintenance. High overload protection with high signal output helps prevent potential damage to the sensor. Carrier frequency excitation provides increased signal/noise immunity. The rotating transformers differ from conventional transformers only in that either the primary or secondary winding is rotating. One transformer is used to transmit the AC excitation voltage to the strain gage bridge, and a second transformer to transfer the signal output to the non-rotating part of the transducer. Thus, two transformers replace four slip rings and no direct contact is required between the rotating and stationary elements of the transducer.

Honeywell offers a line of non-contact, rotary, transformer, shaft torque sensors ideal for test installations running long-term durability testing.
The non-contact nature of the signal transfer virtually eliminates the need for maintenance. High overload protection with high signal output helps prevent potential damage to the sensor. The carrier frequency excitation provides increased signal/noise immunity.
Models offered include low capacity (50 in-ozs[0,35 Nm] to 1,000 in-ozs [7 Nm]) and standard (50 in-lbs [5 Nm] to 100,000 in-lbs [11300 Nm]) capacity ranges, both with 0.1% non-linearity and hysteresis. Models with enhanced accuracy (up to 0.05% non-linearity and hysteresis are also available).

You must use quotation marks when searching order codes. Start with the base order code and range & then add option codes to further reduce the search.
For example: “AL111” will yield the most results. “AL111BN,1A,2U” will start to narrow the search
-
Use the * symbol at the end of a word, part number, partial part number or model number. This will create a wildcard search.
For example: Entering 366* will bring up Model 366 and Model 3663 as well as specific part numbers which contain 366 within the part number.
-
Enter AND (no quote marks) between search terms. This will locate the exact phrase which contains all of the words referenced.
For example: Entering Subminiature AND Load will bring up all products which have BOTH words in the product description.
-
Enter “OR” (with quote marks) between search terms to find products with either word in the description.
For Example: Entering Miniature “OR” Subminiature will bring up all products which have EITHER word in the product spelling
-
When searching by product family or category, try navigating through the product menu via the navigation button on the top left of the website. Or use the Find-A-Solution button from the home page.
